Girltalk
Girltalk develops relationships and builds a sisterhood when girls need them most: middle school, through weekly meetings where girls can share their hopes, dreams, and struggles while learning how to support each other and resolve conflict in healthy ways.

Why
All teenage girls…
need a space where they can share feelings, fears, hopes, and dreams.
need a safe space to resolve conflict, ask for help, and make friendships.
deserve a chance to build a sisterhood and community on their campus with a group of their peers.
deserve a club on campus that welcomes them without requiring money or skill.
What
Girltalk is a club designed for 20-30 members that meets weekly on a school campus. A potential sponsor may want to follow the outline below. Each campus, community, and group of girls is unique so change/add/delete based on your own needs/abilities.
How
Designate 1-2 club sponsors, a place for meeting, and how you will finance the club.
Advertise and disperse Girltalk Applications (digital or paper handout)
Collect applications and schedule informational meeting
At the informational meeting, explain the norms of girltalk and emphasize the importance of sisterhood. Disperse pledge ribbons
One week later, invite new members to sign a poster or canvas. Anything to solidify their membership.
Hold meetings weekly!
